As I wish my Children
Happy Children's Day,
My mind is filled with Questions
Answers to which I search Each Day.
Pacing Up and Down
On the floor of my Room
I am lost in the Maze
Of Unanswered Questions.............
Why are Children Homeless?
Why do they Sleep Hungry ?
Do they have Parents?
Are they Orphans?
Are they Abandoned?
Why is fate so Cruel,
For the most Innocent?
Faced with Child Abuse
How will they Survive?
How many Children,
How long will we Sacrifice?
These Questions rob my Peace
I am Crippled..........................
Why does this Nation Celebrate Children's Day ?
When still such Pathetic conditions Prevail!!!
