481.Appease

Trouble starts if we ever oppose
Trouble ceases if we relent and appease.
Lies circulated overtake the innocents pleas
People turn deaf ears , just to appease.

Questions like -Whys, ifs, buts and suppose
Are ordered to be supressed before we sneeze.
Caged thoughts must never seek release
Their wings ought to be clipped, like birds bought to appease.

Propose never to expose
Grease palms of powerful with ease
Else,on roads and track the body will freeze
Mecilessly butchered by goons,hired  to appease.

Thankfully, a few Crusaders brave these odds and oppose
Risking their life they ruffle the goons crease.
Realizing well, life on earth has been given on Lease
Our Conscience,is the only one whom we need to  appease.

480.Work

Work baby work
Work night and day.
Seek work always
Thank it for giving
Your life some meaning.

Weekend or Weekdays
Work keeps us sane.
Rest we do look for
Only to get back
To work once again.

There is no better friend
Then work that gives
Man useful company.
Work baby work
Work night and day.

478.Mobiles

From the time our phones have become portable
Our joys and sorrows have become more notable.
We call it mobile,it keeps us agile
Glued to it we stay all the while.

Caller tunes notify and order
At all hours blinks neon light
Like a warrant for the soldier
Summoned to fight .

Exhiralated we stay away from nap
Keeping a check on our whatsapp.
Social sites we aren't able to ignore
Whether up or ready to snore.

Expressions have found emoticons
Providing us with innumerable solutions.
Trolls and likes have a knack to please
On MOBILES,we have been arrested with ease.

476.Archives

Archives of life , have plenty to reveal
Things unthought of, it does conceal.
Secrets are stored, with zealous zeal
Behind locked hearts, signed are it's deal.

Chambers of archive,may store material to heal
Or ,be the reason, for unnecessary upheal.
Archives of life may threaten to reveal
Facing them bravely, moves the life's wheel.

Despondency, may make us kneel and steal
With little room for laughter and squeal.
Man make your will, stronger then steel
Chase out despondency,on a  cartwheel.

@Binita Jha

@बिनीता झा

474. Loss and Win

From known to unknown we walk
Knowing little what awaits us
At the end of the journey.

Scattered like wild flowers
Are the experiences
To be gathered as we cross.

O ! Yet ,how blind we are
Crying over what we lost
Failing to recognize what we learnt.

Let 's pick up beautiful lessons
For loss and win are traitors.
They never settle with anyone.

Always don't rhyme.

470. Amidst this Chaos

Peace where are you
Amidst this chaos?
Are your wings
Clipped like the bird
That are in the cage
With no chance
To change their destiny?

Compassion where are you
Amidst this chaos?
Are you really blind
Or turn a blind eye
When innocent scuffle
To change their destiny?

Humanity where are you
Amidst this chaos?
Are you sold out
Or merely play audience
With no will to
To change your destiny?

@Binita Jha

469. Cold

Seasonal change creeps
Broth warms the freezing shiver
Cold is kept at bay.

Mercury plummetes
Chattering of teeth rises
Cold unleashes whip.

Shivering palms stretch
Bonfires are a common sight
Poor huddle for warmth.

Homeless contest cold
Rich are covered head to toe
Struggle wipes strugglers.

Corpse seeks final warmth
Unaffected city walks
Cold humanity.

Experiences of life's tales?

Lines on the feet
What do you denote?

456. Innings

Scribbler, script a new story
Trying to mend old worries.
Struggles fill us with rigour
Strumming life with new vigour
Creating hope for a new Dawn
For which , every man is born.

Lullabies soothe babies to sleep
On mother's bossom they rarely weep.
Mind grows, ideas are explored
Setting sail for zones unexplored.

Shadow Stands with young and old
Like a true friend even in cold.
Chaos are sorted in the mind
Memories remain to remind.
There is no time to stop and pause
Life gears up for every cause.

Heart blossoms with new tweet
Bygones take the back street.
Falling,rising,struggling,coping
We summarize our small innings.

426. We realize

Sometimes we get what we never expect
While at other times we search endlessly.
Often in our search for one thing
We discover many other things unexpectedly;
Good, bad, laugh, tear, work, people
And perhaps much more.

We realize the need for endless love and care
We realize words injures and kills
We realize it is unwise to forget our limits
We realize each question is not for answer
We realize we are vunerable
We  realize we are insignificant
We realize we are difficult
We realize we are no saint
We realize we still have to learn
Not about others but our self.

422. How RESPONSIBLE We are dear brethren!

Understanding and compassion is just so rare
We blame each other without a care.
Strange,how ruthless we are dear brethren!

We lower our voice, walls have ears
Yet screams of needy nobody hears
Strange, how deaf we are dear brethren !

Checking every sundry is our prime duty
Yet cameras fail to see the guilty.
Strange, how blind we are dear brethren!

Knaves walk as God men in  scores
Crutches naive provide by donating in crores.
Strange, how lame we are dear brethren!

Silenced is the voice of democracy
Under right and left wings of utter hypocrisy .
Strange, how dumb we are dear brethren!

Year after year flood rampages the country
We shrug of our responsibility blaming the Municipality.
Strange, how RESPONSIBLE we are dear brethren!

421.Zenith

The wind carries with it many wild stories
Forgotten and nullified are most and lost is the zenith.

Days are wide eyed, Nights searches the topology
Yet futile are the searches, when lost is the zenith.

Life is no child's play, no one is a prodigy
Yet we struggle to keep pace,  though lost is the zenith.

Easily we Judge others, without any apology
Heart Bleeds and pleads,  while lost is the zenith.

Binita close your  eyes,revel at the apogee
Keep it shut, else lost will be the zenith.

I walked on a road knowing not
Where it would lead me.
Perhaps into the circle of joy
Or into the rising storm in sea.
I cared not
As long as my feet could carry me.
I feared not
The obstacles on the path I would meet.
The road and me shared a special bond
It did not ask me questions
Nor did I ask it one
I walked on
And the road stretched out it arms
To welcome me.

Beneath the shade of ripped shelter
Stands a common man selling water.
Soaring temperature does not raise his temper
Delligently he serves all with cold water.

Born deaf and dumb has made him witty
Pointing towards the law enforcers who are forever greedy
He chuckle as they collect bribe to fortify their unsatiable booty
Turning deaf, dumb and blind whenever on duty.

Counting our rhythmic heart beat.

Sweet, bitter experiences  unfold
Kneading us to bind forever
Relationship thrives as it wins.

413.World Poetry Day

When your mind is filled with commotions
Let ink pour out the emotions
To Weave thoughts into compositions
And sail through varied situations.

March 21 is celebrated as the World Poetry Day. It was in 1999 that UNESCO decided to devote this day to poetry.

Poetry plays the social role of developing interpersonal communication through the use of language. There are poems that awaken our senses and emotions like never before. A good poetry makes us aware of our own dilemmas ,  questions, emotions in sublime and subtle ways through the frugality  and novelty of language.

Good poetry, like any other well crafted art form, works in mysterious  ways and can leave us feeling better or light.  As someone who reads, writes and  enjoys poetry, I am delighted there is a World Poetry Day.

I wish all the poets Happy writing!

Till our needs turn out to be passive.

Let Needs make us positive
Let it settle in us as native
And channel our mind to be creative.

Then lip smacking liquor leaves it flavour;

Scrubbing out best the memories of the night
With a plastic smile I face the day.

Or the world will grab them all
If I let my grip go,  even a little easy.

And becoming numb to the attrocities
Met out to the women on this earth under inumerable pretexts .

To threaten me with rape in broad daylight
So that I am silenced and their monopoly continues.

To easily forgets the hienous crime against women
And allows criminals to flourish in the society.

For I need to fight
With myself more than anyone else
To keep reminding myself I am not weak
And at no cost I will Allow you to take me for granted.

Calling out your name
Settles me in peace
Enveloping  me like a blanket
Soothing me in its bracket.

I close my eyes in ecstasy
You untangle my knots easy
You make me dizzy
Till I open my eyes.

O dear !You disappear
Making it hard for me to believe.
In a pool  swims my emotion
Thoughts crisscross in commotion.

I close my eyes
Call out your name
Smile plays on your lips
I surrender to you;Peace settles .

394.Even Today-Ghazal 6

Naked feelings march ahead even today
Memories flood our head even today;

Stories of love kindle our heart
Making them most read even today;

Pretence of carelessness is a farce
To care, man is made even today;

Beads and pearls must be stringed
Necklace scatters without thread even today;

Grumbles make us crumble in loneliness
Love humbles us  instead even today;

Heart skip rhythm with love around
Strange, cheeks blush red even today;

Bini prays for your grace Lord
Guide your ignorant maid even today.

393.Aao phir ek koshis karae

Samjhane ko toh duniya khari hai
Samjhta kaha hai , lekin koi kisi ko
Jo samjhta, toh ye naubat na hoti
Charon aur sirf ,aur sirf muhabbat hoti.

Aao phir ek koshis karae samjhnae ki
Aao mil kar samjhae ek dusrae ko.

392.Radhae Govind- Ghazal 5

When Pangs unbearable surface to claim once again
Let lips silently whisper Madhav's name once again;

When distorted self fails  to find a way
Forgo your ego and fake fame once again;

In ruffled, smoothered and glorious moments of life
Maintain your ground and remain tame once again;

Grease the lamp of faith with selfless devotion
Let darkness never grip and maim once again;

Pain may resurface like ripples in calm water
Let heart pray all the same once again;

The epitome of strength lies in Radhae Govind
Let Bini Feverishly repeat thy  name once again.
