I have turned into a stone
Rolling on to gather no moss.
I flow along with the brook
Carrying forward
The legacy of moving on.
Hurdles I do face
When the waves toss me
And break me
Into small pieces.
Yet at no cost
I would like
To change my state.
I would rather turn
From stone to dust
Passing through time
And merge  into the river
Unknown unheard
Like the million
Particles of sand
Then propagate about
My existence and presence
Or sacrosanct sacrifices
As I turn into dust.

Abhor fake assurances
Take no filth hurled
By known unknown.
None should have the power
To  humiliate or hurt you.
The strings of your life
Is not in any lunatic's hands
But that of your creator
Respect His decision
Let the Benevolent
Be your guide and friend.

Do not be a puppet
To any mortal's game
Out there to seek revenge.
Do not be a bleak bubble
Ready to burst
At the mere touch.
Do not try to satisfy others
And ruin your own
Mental state.
Let the almighty
Be your guide and friend.

Imposters many you will find
Trying their best to trap
You with their crap.
Be strong to face your storms
Rectify your own mistakes.
Indulge in no back scratching
Self pity and blame.
Just place yourself
In the Divine's hand
Let HIM alone
Be Your guide and friend.

Intoxicating liquor
Strong and powerful
Touched the lips
To knock out reality.

It Promised to Knock off
Relics of pains and gains
Yet it knocked in a flood of
Ever so strong memories.

Time crept by at snails pace
Nothing could be knocked out
Feelings of high and low
Was replaced by remorse .

Knocked down by draught
Life in the arid land
Lay distraut and fraught
With many staring dead.

It wished  politics to knock together
For the benefit of the commoners
And save the millions
From the tortures of draught.

Liquor could not drown
Or ease the sufferings.
Helplessly starred the land
Hoping to knock in change.

With people

Boarding and departing

The warmth of their presence.

This train continues to roll

With several stations

Still to cross.

 One day it will rest

In the sanatorium of its yard

Having completed its run.

It will meet HIM

Who placed the keys

In his palm with complete trust.
