प्रानक बाजी लगाकँ लाखो
दियौलक हमरा अहाँ क' आजादी
शोनितक धार बहलए
लाठी डन्टा निर्बल पर चललए
चुप सहलक नै हटल पाछू
सर्वस्व लुटौलक देशक लेल
कोना जाए दबए बलिदान खाली
कोना बढए देबए...
अत्याचारी आ भ्रष्टाचारीकँ
गरीबी आ भुखमरीकँ
आउ उठी सभ करी प्रण
आउ संग मिलि कोशिश करी
आउ छोड़ी स्वार्थ आगू बढी
आउ बढाबी ऐ देशक मान

Enthusiastic life eager to meet
Cheered with glee across the street;
Sweating profusely,
Dispelling negativity,
Hoped and skipped
To meet
The destined
Realizing little
It was all in vain,
There is no room for people insane
Unplugged emotions
Needs to  be trained
To Leif  through composure
For life isn't about reveling

On the plank I lie

Staring at the sky

Searching for peace 

I deeply need
Will no one tell me

Where it has gone

Leaving me crazy

Hunting for it

All day long

Or perhaps it is hiding

Among the clouds

Waiting for me

To catch a glimpse

Of its presence 

Appearing

Like a mirage

To disappears

Teasing me all the way.

Did we ever meet
Or smile
In acknowledgment
Just to greet
I wonder.
Yet I raise my head
As I walk
To my workplace
Hoping to catch
Your smiling face
Brimming with joy
Renewing my faith
You managed to cope
The nature's
Tragic strike..
Alas! The balcony
Stares back at me
Shattering my hope
As another day
Yet passes by.

जिंदगी ने जब से तेरा साथ पाया 

दिल ने प्यार  का गीत गुनगुनाया

 

तेरे आगोश ने तमन्नाओं को जगाया 

तूने मेरी दुनियाँ को फिर से बसाया 

हर लम्हा पुनः रौशनी में नहाया 

जब प्रियतम तू मेरे पास आया 

तूने मेरी हकीकत हो हसीन बनाया 

तेरे गजलों में डूब कर दिल मुस्कुराया

दुनियाँ ने ख्वाब बेशक दिखाया 

पर तूने ख्वाबों को जीना सिखाया

Needing constant support with challenges to pass.
Evil thoughts grow like weeds
Germinating effortlessly from it seeds.
Growing as soon as good thoughts ceases
Ruining peace of mind it settles and eases.
Millions I would bid to get my thought right
Making all efforts to win this fight.
