Nothing on Earth is permanently mine
Nor do I desire to own things fine;
I just wish to traverse the globe
Moving like a nomad in modern robe
Rejoicing in the bountiful abundance
With none but nature for guidance.
Let me move like the gurgling stream.
Till I can like the untamed bird scream.
Tired of the games people play
I seek relief from the worldly sway
O wanderlust reside in me
Till I receive heavenly permanency.
