कसमों में बांध जवाब चाहता  है
गज़ब जिंदगी आज हिसाब चाहता  है 

देख हर रोज करोरों का घोटाला
ओढ़ने को जिंदगी हिज़ाब चाहता  है

लिखता,गाता और नाचता जब कोई
जिंदगी पाने को ख़िताब चाहता  है

लाल बती वाली गारी में  बैठकर
देखो नेता कैसे  रुबाब चाहता है

दो रोटी की चाह में खड़ा भूखा
अनाज ना की कबाब चाहता है

जलाओं ना विद्यालयों को हे पापी
 बच्चा पढ़ने को किताब चाहता है

Where education has yet to reach and percolate
Where salary advance is  needed for some food on plate
Where people have no money for bank account
Where government's own corruption has no count
Where sky is the roof and hard ground is the bed
Where heat stroke and freezing cold leave people dead
Where network connectivity is a distant dream
Where women are raped as they struggle and scream
Where government talks of plastic card and money wallet
When people lack  even the basic amenity of a toilet.
Braving the chilling odds of demonetisation
Standing in unending serpentine queue united
Yes, Binita talks as a commoner of this  nation
With a childish belief we can root out the corrupted.
