375. Words (Ghazal -1)

                                        GHAZALS
GHAZALS have fascinated me. Reading them in Hindi and Maithli have soothed my aesthetic need for poetry. Searched the net for Ghazals in English but it did not yield much result. Ravishing Disunities a collection of ghazals by Agha Shahid Ali caught my attention. Taking queue from his collection of English ghazals on net and reading contemporary Maithil ghazalshiromani Shri Rajeev Ranjan Mishra ji regularly I have tried to pen down a GHAZAL in English, keeping in mind- Behr, Quafia and Radeef. It is my first attempt. I know there is room for improvement and would appreciate suggestions in nurturing my new born from worthy readers and scholars of language.

Words won’t  you chuckle tonight?
Will you not tickle tonight?

Will you cough sickly hiccups ?
Will you be fickle tonight?

Won’t you write soulful stories ?
Will you not  trickle tonight?

Words in an array shimmer
Do not fetch sickle tonight.

Place them in order Bini
Let them not stickle tonight.
