Did we ever meet
Or smile
In acknowledgment
Just to greet
I wonder.
Yet I raise my head
As I walk
To my workplace
Hoping to catch
Your smiling face
Brimming with joy
Renewing my faith
You managed to cope
The nature's
Tragic strike..
Alas! The balcony
Stares back at me
Shattering my hope
As another day
Yet passes by.

जिंदगी ने जब से तेरा साथ पाया 

दिल ने प्यार  का गीत गुनगुनाया

 

तेरे आगोश ने तमन्नाओं को जगाया 

तूने मेरी दुनियाँ को फिर से बसाया 

हर लम्हा पुनः रौशनी में नहाया 

जब प्रियतम तू मेरे पास आया 

तूने मेरी हकीकत हो हसीन बनाया 

तेरे गजलों में डूब कर दिल मुस्कुराया

दुनियाँ ने ख्वाब बेशक दिखाया 

पर तूने ख्वाबों को जीना सिखाया

Cultivating good thoughts is a herculean task
Needing constant support with challenges to pass.
Evil thoughts grow like weeds
Germinating effortlessly from it seeds.
Growing as soon as good thoughts ceases
Ruining peace of mind it settles and eases.
Millions I would bid to get my thought right
Making all efforts to win this fight.
