Fair or Unfair ?

The promises are blended

With give and take.

Nothing is unconditional.

Any deviation,

Changes the balance.

Pillars shake

Everything crashes.

Memories stay,

Sprouting green.

As it germinates

Deeper and deeper.

Checking is impossible

For it is a tree

With roots, embedded

FOREVER.

Generation Next

Over generations

The ones younger

Have believed themselves

To be smarter.

Be it you or me

It has always been

A very similar story

Deny it if you want.

Acceptance is tough

Yet experience teaches

The lame shout outs

Come from learners.

Check them tomorrow 

Are they in the same shoes

Walking on the worn out path

With the generation next.

Jot down the lines

Arrange their order

Serve the rich platter.

Story or drama

Poems or articles

Original is definitely worthier.
