185.Chhati Maiya

Obeisance to the setting sun,
Obeisance to the rising sun,
Obeisance to Chaati Maiya,
From her daughters and sons
Standing to pray in water;
Offering fruits thakua,bhusba
Prepared with deep faith.
Lighting diyas and aromatics incenses,
To seek her grace
And enlighten their path
Engulfed in the darkness
Of mundane desires.

184*Appeal*

Toxins exchange hands,
When crackers find a stand.
Exploiting children who work as labourers,
Killing their childhood with brutal fervor.
Noise and smoke have delirious effect
Reducing this world from being perfect.
Aghast weeps nature day and night,
Seeing no one to take up her fight.
Friends !
Rise to the clarion call of time
Illuminate your mind with true light
Abandon crackers with delight.
Let deafening sound,
Never pound.
Let crackers,
Find no takers.
Let appeal for green Diwali spread its flavour,
Gaining sweet accolades and true favour.

183.Happy Vijaya Dashmi

May the light of cosmic
Enlighten the beings of sesmic
To rule out
The fatalistic vices
Scourging from outburst.
May we rise from torrments
And succeed in deciphering
The route to peace permanent.
